CANYON RIM
At over 7000', this campground is in a Ponderosa Pine forest and sits atop steep cliffs overlooking the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The temperatures can vary from warm days to cool nights. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. The campground area offers a restroom, potable water, and nearby trails to the canyon rim.

Important Information: Stage I Fire Alert: Fires allowed only in developed campgrounds infirerings. No fires in dispersed areas or outside of fire pits.Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.A per day per vehicle fee will be collected for extra vehicles.Excluded from this fee are boats, trailers, or any vehicle towed to thecampsite. All equipment must fit on the pads in developed areas.No refunds for bad weather.This campground is located in the Flaming Gorge National RecreationArea (FGNRA) on the Ashley National Forest. Vehicles must display aRecreation Fee Pass outside of the campground if using other recreationalfacilities (e.g.boat ramps, picnic areas, day use areas). Passes can bepurchased from visitor centers, campground managers, and local businesses.The holder of a Golden Passport is not required to purchase a RecreationFee Pass if the passport is displayed on the vehicle dash.
