JARVIES FAMILY BOAT IN
This newly renovated boat-in campground offers access to great fishing and wonderful scenery. Jarvies Canyon is located at 6040' in a juniper and Pinyon pine forest on the shore of Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Access to this campground is by boat only. The closest boat ramps are Cedar Springs and Mustang Ridge approximately 4 miles away. There are 7 single-family sites, 2 of which can be reserved. Each single-family site has a cabana, picnic table, tentpad, and firering. The campground area offers a vault restroom and gravel trails between campsites and a dock system with limited space.

Take US 191 from Vernal, Utah, 42 miles north. From US 191 gosouthwest on Forest Road 183 for approximately 2 miles. Accesscampground by boat only, 4 miles northwest of boat ramp.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.Boating access only. Boat lengths must not exceed 36'. Disabledvisitors will need assistance to move from boat dock to the trail andcampsites. Golden Age/Golden Access holders receive a 50% discounton use fees that are charged per single-family unit. No refunds for badweather.This campground is located in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area(FGNRA) on the Ashley National Forest. The FGNRA is participating inthe Recreation Fee Demonstration Program; it states each vehicle mustdisplay a Recreation Fee Pass outside of the campground if using otherrecreational facilities (e.g. boat ramps, picnic areas, and day-useareas).The benefit of this program is that all fees collected remain on thatdistrictfor improvement and maintenance. A daily pass is $2; a 16-day pass is$5;and an annual is $20. Passes can be purchased from visitor centers,campground managers, and local businesses. The holder of a GoldenPassport or National Park Pass with hologram sticker will not be requiredtopurchase a recreation fee pass if displayed on the dash of the vehicle.
