JARVIES BOAT IN GROUP
This newly renovated boat-ingroup site offers access to great fishing and wonderful scenery. Jarvies Canyon is located at 6040' in a juniper and Pinyon pine forest on the shore of Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Access to this campground is by boat only. The closest boat ramps are Cedar Springs and Mustang Ridge approximately 4 miles away. There is one group site at this location. The site consists of a large pavilion, 2 firerings, 2 grills, 6 picnic tables, 3 tent pads, a restroom, and a private dock system. Disabled visitors will need assistance to move from boat dock to the trail and campsites. No refund for bad weather.

Take US 191 from Vernal, Utah, 42 miles north. From US 191 gosouthweston Forest Road 183 for approximately 2 miles. Accesscampground by boat only, 4 miles northwest of boat ramp.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.Boating access only. Boat lengths must not exceed 36'.Disabled visitors will need assistance to move from boat dock to thetrailand campsites.No refund for bad weather.This campground is located in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area(FGNRA) on the Ashley National Forest. The FGNRA is participating in theRecreation Fee Demonstration Program; it states each vehicle must displaya Recreation Fee Pass outside of the campground if using otherrecreationalfacilities (e.g. boat ramps, picnic areas, and day-use areas). Thebenefit of thisprogram is that all fees collected remain on that district forimprovementand maintenance. A daily pass is $2; a 16-day pass is $5; and an annualis $20.Passes can be purchased from visitor centers, campground managers, andlocal businesses. The holder of a Golden Passport or National Park Passwith hologram sticker will not be required to purchase a recreation feepass ifdisplayed on the dash of the vehicle.
