Deer Creek Group Areas
Deer Creek Reservoir lies in the southwest corner of beautiful
Heber Valley, at the base of towering Mount Timpanogos. Its
cool waters provide some of Utah's finest year-round fishing.
Predictable canyon winds make Deer Creek extremely popular for
boating, wind surfing, sunbathing, swimming and sailboating. The
park offers campgrounds for individual and group camping, and
four group day-use areas.
Wallsburg Bay, located at the southeastern end of the
reservoir, is exclusively for group-use camping. East
Pavilion, Center Pavilion, and West Pavilion may be reserved
individually or together.
Group day-use facilities are available at Sailboat Beach,
Petersen, Island, and Rainbow Bay.
A concessionaire provides a restaurant, boat rentals, gasoline,
and sundries.
