DRIPPING SPRINGS CAMPGROUND
*Campground sustained major fire damage in 2002 and has been rebuilt but no shade* Located at 6000', this area is representative of a high desert community. The landscape is mainly a juniper forest where temperatures can fluctuate from warm days to cool nights. This is the closest campground to the Little Hole Picnic and Boat Site on the Green River. The family campground has bathrooms, 2 accessible sites, and potable water. The group area has bathrooms, 6' diameter fire rings, and extra long picnic tables.

Take US 191 from Vernal, Utah, 47 miles north. Just north of Dutch Johnturn off US 191, go east on Forest Road 075 for approximately 3 miles.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.Equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areasonly.Public showers are available at Mustang Ridge and Deer Runcampgrounds. A dump station is available at Deer Run orFirefighters campground.. Those using facilities outside thecampground will need to purchase a Rec Fee Demo Passfrom camp hosts, local businesses, or the Forest ServiceNOTICE: As of 2004, the vehicle policy is changed. No more than 2
vehicles will be allowed on a single site. No exceptions.This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
