At 6000', it is located near the shore of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The landscape is a pinyon pine forest and is representative of a high desert community. The campsite has 2 six-foot diameter fire rings, 15 tables, and 1 bathroom. Public showers are available at Deer Run and Mustang Ridge campgrounds. A Rec Fee Demo Pass must be purchased to recreate outside the campground. It can be purchased from hosts, local businesses, and the Forest Service.

Dutch John Draw Campground is located in northeast Utah, about 47 milesnorth of Vernal UT. Two miles north of Flaming Gorge Dam on US 191,turn west on Forest Service Road 695 for 1 mile.
Important Information: *Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.*A per person per day fee will be collected at the campground when themaximum number of people is exceeded.Gate is locked to campsite; Deer Run campground host will give access.Forest Road 695 is partially gravelled with 2 stream crossings. This roadbecomes difficult during inclement weather. Large RVs are not recommended.No refunds for bad weather. Please bring your own drinking water.
