SMITH AND MOREHOUSE
Located approximately twelve miles south of Oakley, Utah, adjacent to Smith and Morehouse Creek. This campground is situated in a remote mountain area with conifer trees, only 1/2 mile from the reservoir. Elevation is 7,800 feet. Daytime temperatures are 65-75 degrees, and nights are 40-50 degrees. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. There are no hook ups. Motorized boats are welcome. From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 36 miles to the Kamasexit. Take south for 12 miles to Oakley, turn left on Highway 213 andtravel 12 miles to end of pavement. Turn right and go 2 miles tocampground entrance.
Important Information: This campground has first-come, first-served sites.Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays.This campground has a 7 day maximum stay limit.A per day fee for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.NO ATV's or ORV's allowed.No refunds are given for bad weather.No horses allowed in the campground.
