TRIAL LAKE CAMPGROUND

Trial Lake Campground is located 25 miles from the town of Kamas, Utah, adjacent to Trail Lake at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Daytime temperatures are 65-75 degrees and nights are 40-50 degrees. Restrooms are provided There are no hook ups. Roads are paved. There is a dump station 10 miles away. Firewood is available for sale at the site. A recreation use pass is required. First-come, first-serve sites are available.

TRIAL LAKE CAMPGROUND Directions

From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 30 miles to Highway 40.Go south on Highway 40 for 1 mile to Kamas exit. Go southeast on Highway189 for 12 miles to Kamas. Turn east on Highway 150, travel 25 miles tocampground.

Important Information: *Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.This campground requires a minimum of 2 night stay on weekends.This campground requires a minimum of 3 night stay on holidays. *This campground has a 7 day maximum stay limit.There is an extra vehicle fee collected per day on-site beginning with2nd vehicle. Tow and towed vehicle equals one vehicle.Additional parking available for a fee at Fisherman Parking nearby.All-terrain vehicles must be on a trailer at all times in the campground.There is room for only 1 RV and 1 trailer or 2 passenger vehicles.No motorboats on the lake, and no horses allowed.No refunds are given for bad weather.Due to Health Department rules, come prepared with water for RVs andtrailers.This facility has single family sites only. Groups need to go toWashington Lake or Pine Valley. Campers must have a Fee Demo Pass beforecamping. Available at Kamas, Bear River, and Evanston Ranger DistrictOffices.
