ALBION BASIN
Albion Basin is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, in a mountain area with pine and aspen trees at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Weather can change quickly and you should expect thunderstorms. There is a campground host on site. Restrooms and drinking water are provided. First come, first serve sites available. The area is renowned for the stunning beauty of the wildflowers in mid-to-late July and August. It is also known for its unusual geology. Parking is limited.

From Highway 215 take 6200 South exit, go eastbound for 1 mileto Wasatch Blvd., take Wasatch Blvd. 3 miles south to junction withLittle Cottonwood Canyon Highway (Highway 210). Take left at junction,follow Little Cottonwood Canyon Highway for 10.2 miles to the entranceof the Albion Campground.
Important Information: This campground has first-come, first-served sites.Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.2 night minimum on weekends, 3 night minimum on holidays for family sites.No admittance from 10 pm to 6 am when the gate is locked.No pets or livestock. This is a culinary watershed and you will befined for bringing animals to the area.A fee of $5/day for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.No ATV's or ORV's allowed.
