PANGUITCH LAKE
The Cedar City Ranger District will TRY to have the Panguitch Lake North campground open for walk-in (first-come, first-serve) camping by Memorial Day weekend, depending on the weather conditions. Summer season reservations open and close according to the above stated date. Following Labor Day weekened, the Panguitch Lake South campground will remain open for dry camping (vault toilet, no water, and no fee) until the snow falls. Located 14 miles southwest of Panguitch, Utah, in a ponderosa pine forest. Popular activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing and nature study. There is an amphitheater with some weekend programs and Church Services. Attractions nearby include Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Panguitch Lake.

Take Highway 143 southwest from Panguitch, Utah, 14 miles.Campground turn off is on the north side of the highway.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.An additional fee will be collected on-site for second vehicle.No ATV's or OHV's in campground.Pets must be leashed.No showers.No discharge of firearms or fireworks.Trailer dump station nearby.For more information about the park, please call (435)865-3200.
