SPRUCES
This is Spruces Campground in Wasatch National Forest, east of Salt Lake City. Mountains, wilderness, pine and aspen trees, elevation 7500 feet. There are numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in the immediate area and interpretive walks and stocked fishing in the Big Cottonwood Creek.

From Highway 215 take 6200 south exit, go eastbound for 1 mile toWasatch Blvd. Take Wasatch Blvd. 1 mile south to junction with BigCottonwood Canyon Highway (Highway 190). Make a left at the junction andfollow the Big Cottonwood Canyon Highway for 9.7 miles to the SprucesCampground.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends and a 3 nightminimum stay on holiday weekends for family sites.This campground has first-come, first-served sites.No animals, domestic or livestock, allowed in the canyon.No all-terrain vehicles allowed in the canyon.Extra vehicle fees per day per vehicle will be collected at thecampground. Fees begin with the 2nd vehicle at single sites, 3rd vehicle atdouble sites, and 4th vehicle at triple sites. Fees also apply to parkingin the overflow area.Check the site type and the capacity for people and vehicles. Sitecapacities are strictly enforced.
