TANNERS FLAT

Mountains, wilderness, pine and aspen trees, elevation 7200 feet. Weather changes quickly, expect thunderstorms and cool nights. Stocked fishing in Little Cottonwood Creek. There is a volleyball court available and numerous hiking trails in the vicinity. Spectacular wildflower viewing is available nearby at Albion Basin from mid to late July through August. There are disabled access sites available. Golden Passport discounts do not apply to sites with a capacity of 13 people or more or to extra vehicles. Space is very limited. Do NOT expect to be able to find a site that will accommodate a big rig! Check the site lengths!

From Highway 215 take 6200 South exit, go eastbound for 1 mile toWasatch Blvd., take Wasatch Blvd. 3 miles south to junction with LittleCottonwood Canyon Highway (Highway 210). Take left at junction,follow Little Cottonwood Canyon Highway for 4.1 miles to campgroundentrance.

Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends forfamily sites.Please keep all vehicle wheels on pavement to help protect thevegetation.A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground forextra vehicles - those above the number listed in the site record.Check the number of vehicles for specific group sites.Site limits for people and vehicles are strictly enforced.No animals-pets or livestock-allowed in the canyon or campgroundas it is a culinary watershed area.No refunds are given for bad weather. No amplified music.Firewood sold at campground.No admittance to the campground from 10 pm to 6 am.This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
