PONDEROSA (UTAH)
Located ten miles from Nephi, this campground is situated in a ponderosa pine forest area, near Salt Creek. There is good privacy between units. Restrooms are provided. There is a staffed entrance and gates close at 10 pm. Campground is within 1.5 miles of the Mt. Nebo Wilderness and close access to hiking trails, national scenic byway (Nebo Loop) and six miles from Devil's Kitchen Geological Area. Nephi is a full service community.

PONDEROSA (UTAH) Directions
From Highway 15, take second Nephi exit to Ephram Manti. Go up NephiCanyon to Salt Creek turnoff by the KOA Campground. Go north 3.5 miles tothe Bear Canyon turnoff, follow to the left. The Ponderosa Campground is1/2 mile up Bear Canyon.
Important Information: This is the Ponderosa in Utah County, not Dixie.Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.Gates close at 10 pm. An additional fee will be collected on-site forsecond vehicle. Day use fee will be collected on-site for use prior to4 pm, after 4 pm overnight camping fee applies. Pets must be leashed.Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. No discharge of firearms or fireworks.No horses or ATV's.This park has first come, first served sites.
