LUCERNE CAMPGROUND
Flaming Gorge Corporation operates this campground under a Special Use Permit from the US Forest Service. At 6100' and near the shore of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this area is representative of a high desert community. Typical weather ranges from warm days to cool nights. There are a total of 143 single-family sites and 4 double-family sites. Each campsite has a fire ring, cabana, and a picnic table. The campground area offers a boat ramp, marina, fish cleaning station, bathrooms, potable water, and a dump station. An amphitheater with 120 bleacher seats and screen support is available for interpretive programs. This amphitheater is available for rent by groups. Services in the area include: Lucerne Valley Marina (435) 784-3483 - boat rentals, gas, slips, licenses, tackleand groceries.

Located approximately 8 miles northeast of Manila, Utah, 4 miles of whichare on State Route 43 and 4 miles on Forest Road 146. Group site isadjacent Lucerne Valley Marina.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. All vehiclesmust fit ondesignated parking spur.Potable water available fromApril 1 - November 1.No refunds for bad weather. This campground islocated in the Flaming Gorge National RecreationArea (FGNRA).Vehicles must display a Recreation Fee Pass outside of thecampground if using other recreational facilities (e.g. boat ramps,picnic areas, day use areas). Passes can be purchased from visitorcenters, campground managers, and local businesses. The holder of aGolden Passportis not required to purchase a Recreation Fee Pass ifthe passport is displayed on the vehicle dash.This campground has first come first serve sites.
