Located three miles outside the town of Pine Valley, Utah. Situated in large ponderosa pine and oak trees. Area is shaded. Campground is adjacent to Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness. Popular activities include hiking, fishing and horseback riding. There is a lodge and cafe in Pine Valley.

From St. George, Utah, go north on Highway 18 to Central. Take a right onForest Highway 35 to Pine Valley. Take a left on Main Street and go 3miles to the recreation area.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.There are other Ponderosa picnic areas located in Northern Utah. Make sureyour reservation is for the Ponderosa Picnic Area near St. George, Utah.
