The Atlas 12 Series Snowshoe recently won Outdoor Magazines Gear of the Year Award. It is no surprise though, the Atlas 12 Series stands out from other snow shoes on the market. They have a built in suspension that helps the crampons grip into hard snow and ice. You can also say bye - bye to shin pain with the suspension system because it promotes your forward momentum giving you a smooth even stride. Another nice feature is that you can back up with out getting buried. The auto lock bindings tighten or losen up with one gloved finger. They are made from an aluminum frame and weigh only 4lbs.
