Riley Canyon

Riley Canyon is out Route 32 heading up Wolf Creek Pass in Woodland. We all went for a hike up there this morning. It is a nice up hill walk with a seasonal stream running along it. The single track passes through sections of aspen meadows and grass lands. If you make it to the top it is a popular spot for rock hounds. There is a large area where you can dig for red horned coral and some other stuff. Besides the rock collectors you might run into the stray cow or mountain biker. Not too many people hike this trail so it is a nice one to visit. Bring the dogs!
