The North Face Masters is a two event Big Mountain snowboard contest that launches at Snowbird on February 8 - 10, 2008. All male and female snowboarders over the age of 18 are welcome to participate. This should be a challenging competition in Little Cottonwood Canyon with its cliff drops, tight chutes, steep terrain and Utahs famous powder. The competition is judged on a scale of 1 to 10 on line selection, fluidity, control, creativity and style. With score total and elimination rounds at the end of the day. The second stop is in Alyeska, Alaska April 2 - 6, 2008. On line registration prior to competition day only at The North Face Masters.

Athlete arrival/registration

Athlete meeting: 4:30 p.m. – Alpine Room
Saturday, February 9th
Day #1 of Competition
Athletes Load Snowbird Tram: 8:00a.m.
Competition begins: Start time 9:15a.m.
Venue: TBA
Mandatory Athlete meeting: 5:00p.m. – Alpine Room
Sunday, February 10th
Day #2 – Finals and Super Finals
Athletes Load Snowbird Tram: 8:00a.m.
Competition begins: Start time 9:15am
Venue: TBA (Super Final to be on separate venue)
Awards: Immediately following Super Final
Event Closing Party: 8:00 p.m. until close (venue TBA)
