Mountain Lion in Park Meadows

If you happen to have one of these looking in your window in the middle of the night you might want to scream. Thats exactly what happened to a woman in Park City on saturday night in her Park Meadows home. She was awakened by her vicious miniature poodle barking wildly in the middle of the night, she got up to let it out and came face to face through a glass door with a 6 foot long mountain lion. Wild life officials believe it may have just been passing through or following food (a.k.a. deer and poodles) through the neighborhood. Just a little reminder to all of us living, hiking, camping or just hanging out in our homes here in Utah that we are close to or in these animals habitat. Encounters with bear, elk, moose and mountain lions are a possibility. YIKES!

The mountain lion is back. A house cat was found half eaten in a Old Ranch Road neighborhood.
