Snow Canyon State Park

Snow Canyon State Park is located in southern Utah about 11 miles northwest from the town of St. George. The park is open year round and has a day use fee of $5 and a camping fee of $20. The campground is tucked into a nice little red rock cove, has tent and trailer spots, hot showers and flush toilets. Although there are plenty of hiking trails with in the State Park I would not recommend bringing your dog. There are only 2 areas where dogs are permitted (on leash) with in the canyon, The West Canyon Road (gravel) and the Whiptail Trail (paved).

The campground does have some spots that provide shade.
