Sunday, February 1, 2009 is the Rossignol Silver Ski, a FREE group ski tour of Park City’s growing winter trail system. Participants can ski as much (up to 40k) or as little (5-10k) as they desire. Starting at 10 a.m. either skate or classic ski from the White Pine Nordic Center (longer) or Willow Creek Park (shorter). The tour finishes up at the Snyderville Basin Recreation Field House with music, hot cocoa, coffee, soup, and other festive family activities. Kids games and activities will start at 11:30. There will be free hats from Rossignol for the first 125 skiers. Cool prizes and giveaways, too! Equipment rentals and maps will be available at White Pine Touring at 435.649.6249. This is part of the Park City Winterfest Presented by Rossignol, Basin Recreation, White Pine Touring and Mountain Trails Foundation. Bring the whole family!
