Yellow Pine Campground - Kamas Ranger District

Our first camping trip this summer! This weekend we went camping with our two boys in the Wasatch - Cache National Forest. We went up the Mirror Lake Highway just a few miles to the Yellow Pine Campground. Even though it is only about 10 minutes from our house we have never actually camped in this campground before which to our surprise was beautiful. We had a nice little stream going right by our tent from all the snow melt this year, big tall pine trees and the whole place to ourselves.
Great picturres! I love to see families camping. Good example of saving gas by staying close to home, but still having camping fun!
